The Borough of Kittanning is the county seat of Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. Kittanning Online is a community site for residents, former residents and anyone interested in collecting, researching, preserving and sharing the rich history of Kittanning, Pennsylvania.
Some individuals may offer information from years of study. Others have obtained collections of media from newspapers that offer a description of the daily activities into Kittanning’s past or photo collections that can take us back and reveal what Kittanning looked like. Still other people are related to those that worked and sweat in building of the town into the great place it has become and only wish to discover their ancestors and where they worked and lived. Finally, the last group of people are just simply curious.
